1. Controller

DigitalDrop Empire is operated by Axel carl erik Lärka, who is the data controller responsible for your personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect and why

  • Account data (email, hashed password): to create and secure your account — contract performance.
  • Learning data (completed lessons, progress): to provide the bootcamp and track your progress — contract performance.
  • Membership status (plan, renewal date, subscription ID received from Paddle): to grant Empire Pro access — contract performance.
  • Support messages: to answer your questions — legitimate interests.
  • Technical data (IP address, device and browser info, logs): for security, fraud prevention and reliability — legitimate interests.

3. Sharing

We share data only with:

  • service providers who host our website, database and authentication;
  • Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing (Paddle processes payment details under its own privacy policy);
  • professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed;
  • authorities where required by law.

4. International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. Where they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

We keep account and learning data while your account is active. When you close your account, we delete or anonymise it within 90 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. We respond within one month. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, such as the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords and access controls that limit each user to their own data.

8. Cookies

We use only essential browser storage needed to keep you signed in and run checkout. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. You can clear this storage in your browser settings, which will sign you out.
